The Monte Pego Estate
Monte Pego is a residential area located to the Northern end of the Costa Blanca almost equi-distant from Alicante and Valencia airports. All villas are constructed in a traditional Spanish style and finished to an extremely high standard. With panoramic views of the mountains on one side and the sea on the other, the whole estate is very scenic. To take full advantage of the area a car is a necessity. Cars can be picked up from and returned to Alicante airport.
LOCAL AMENITIES: Three excellent restaurants, a bank and a shop on the estate itself, miles of sandy beaches within minutes, Safari Park 3 minutes away, Benidorm Theme Park is 25 minutes on the A7, miles of scenic mountain roads with historic villages starting within a 5 minute drive towards Pego. Denia - convenient for shopping with a huge range of shops and restaurants to suit every taste.
For those wanting to go a little further: Valentia is an hour to the north and Alicante is an hour to the south. In between are smaller towns such as Gandia, Oliva, Calpe, Javea, Moraira.
DIRECTIONS TO MONTE PEGO FROM ALICANTE AIRPORT: It takes 50 minutes on the motorway to Monte Pego. Follow signs for Valencia and travel on the A7. Take the turn off number 62 which will be signposted -Ondara. Drive through Ondara following signs for Valencia and turn left at the sign for Pego. You will pass the Safari Park on your right and then look out for the Monte Pego estate which is about 2 minutes further on your left. Once in the estate follow the signs for the Cafe Residential (Swiss Restaurant) From the restaurant turn right and then the next left. This is Vistamar. Follow the road uphill and we are on the left at number 21. There is a sign with Casia Basia and number 21. Note: On first arrival you will be met at the phone boxes at the entrance to the estate.
