Its strategic situation in the centre of Catalonia, and the crossing of the main communication lines and routes, offers you a starting point to know the country and at the same time you have the chance to enjoy a wide range of cultural, sports and leisure activities at reach.
Cal Raich, is a house which is integrated in the fortress of Montfalcó. From the house you can enjoy two different views, one shows the panoramic and stunning sight of the valley and the countryside that surrounds the fortress, the other is the inner part of the fortress, as from the house you can also see the main square of the village that was once the arms yard of the place.
It is thought that the building origins date from the XI century. The whole house is built in stone with walls of about 3 metres thick, wooden balks, adobe floors, arcades, wine presses, etc. and it has been restored taking care, and at the same time giving preference to the architectural values of the house.
The lodging has large rooms and its capacity is for 6- 8 people. It has a dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, a sitting room, three double bedrooms, two bathrooms (one en suite) , garden and a terrace. The decoration is mainly done with antique pieces of furniture, and it has all the facilities and equipment of these days including electrical household, crockery or glassware.
